It is estimated the energy saved as a result of installing solar panels at 10 Catholic Schools in the Parramatta Diocese would result in 45% reduction of electricity consumed, resulting in a saving of $495k per annum. Up to 10 Catholic Schools in the Parramatta Diocese will play a pivotal role in getting schools powered solely by renewable energy and teaching students about sustainability.

Mr Ben Born - Year 10 Coordinator
Our second St Pauls Community Car show was held on Saturday 25th November and proved to be a great success. Over 76 cars of all makes and varieties entered with a few motorcycles also in the mix. The event brought together past and present members of our school community and in many ways was almost a reunion for many of our 'Old Boys'.

Today (Tuesday), the Federal Government introduces into Parliament its new schools funding bill. In the past weeks, I have become disheartened by the ongoing war of words between the Catholic education sector and the Federal Government about what the new model will mean for Catholic systemic schools. It has become bitter with senior government ministers calling the Catholic leaders ‘dishonest’. This kind of language achieves nothing.
