Remote Learning Information for Parents & Students

st-pauls-logo

In response to the extended lockdown which has been mandated in Sydney until Friday 16 July, we have developed an online learning program for the commencement of Term 3. St Pauls Remote Learning will assist in providing more structure and a balance of online interaction, independent learning and wellbeing experiences. Please note, all schools are requesting that no parents attend onsite until further notice.

Remote Learning will commence on Tuesday 13 July as Monday 12 July has been declared a Pupil Free Day for all schools in the Greater Sydney area. This will provide teachersand staff the necessary preparation time for remote learning to take place upon its commencement.

Attached are both parent and student information sheets & letters communicated via our compass app for your reference.

Students remote learning letter

Students years-7-12 remote learning Information

Remote Learning will be our teaching and learning structure until such time as we are required to respond to changes in government policy and health advice.

We all remain optimistic that as the term unfolds, we will begin to be able to return to a more normal school setting. We are also aware that this situation may cause some concern and angst. To that end, please do not hesitate to contact the College and we will direct your enquiry accordingly to the appropriate staff member.

Should any families of essential workers need to send their sons to the College during this remote learning period, the College will provide appropriate supervision. Any families who need to send their sons to school please contact the College via email at: stpaulsgreystanes@parra.catholic.edu.au

I appreciate and acknowledge that this is a difficult time for many families, and I encourage you all to continue to be supportive of each other in these unprecedented times.

I will update you on further developments in the coming days.

Thank you, as always, for your support.

Yours sincerely

Mr. Paul Finneran

Principal

Athletics Carnival Postponed

With the significant rainfall scheduled for Monday 22nd and our planned Athletics Carnival on that day, we have decided it would be in the best interest of students and staff, to postpone the event. The Athletics Carnival will be postponed to Term 2 at this stage, pending availability of venues, and we will give more information as we secure a location.
Many thanks for your support and understanding.
It will be a normal Monday A.
